Dimple Piercings!
Piercings! Another lovely aspect of the dead darling rebellious concept in which I condone. I condone piercings so much that I went and got one..er maybe two.
Just yesterday at my local tattoo parlor(Nor Cal Ink in Chico, Ca) I got the apparently very dangerous dimple/cheek piercings on not one but both sides of my face. My piercing artist, a very nervous young father explained to me that with any wrong poke of the needle I could damage major nerves and veins in my face. Understanding all the complications and having done many months of research I happily signed they’re liability waver(NOTE: Should you want to get this piercing done I would suggest also doing a lot of research prior! Also I am not responsible for any damages or misinformation read here. This is simply my take on the concept).
They marked both sides of my face and measured how far each mark was from my lips and from each other making sure both marks were symmetrical and parallel to one another.
Then my piercing artist had me open my mouth wide and stuck a flashlight in to see if there were any major veins in the way. Once both sides were cleared he had Sean, a tattoo artist I assume come and help him.
With the use of a few very large clamps, temporary oral numbing cream, a quick mental prayer to the goddess and the use of 4 hands going in and out of my mouth my face was pierced.
Stick a needle in it honey, your done!
What do you think?
